May 2005 Within this project, the 6th grade primary school students are introduced to their civil rights as well as democratic processes and principles. Students learn how to influence local policy, identify problems in their community, collect and evaluate acquired data on chosen problem, evaluate existing or develop new public policy and make an action plan for implementation of that policy.
