| Title: | Conference ''Grip Dagen'' -''Seize the day'' |
| Description: | 7-8 November 2005.
The conference which is organised by a project called Newspaper in school is called ''Grip Dagen'' or ''seize the day'' and will take place in Lillehammer from 7 to 8 November 2005. It focuses on how schools can increase pupils democratic awareness, values and citizenship by teaching of topical and current themes on the basis of newspapers and other mass-media. The conference will also seek to answer such questions as whether this increases pupil motivation and support the learning of basic skills. |
