''Learning and living democracy: the way ahead'' - Evaluation Conference of the European Year of Citizenship through Education, organised in the framework of the Romanian Chairmanship of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers. The aim of the conference was to discuss the results of the ''Year'', to share examples of good practice, and to identify priorities for the future work of the Council of Europe in the field of Education for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights (EDC/HRE). The conference was also a contribution to the Action Plan of the United Nations World Programme for Human Rights Education. |
