Title: The Participatory and Active Citizenship in Schools Competition
Description: The Participatory and Active Citizenship in Schools Competition is implemented in schools and educational institutions as communal activity. The aim of the competition is to support and highlight schools and educational institutions where creative and original operational policies have been or are in the early stages of being introduced.
In a school where the principles of participatory and active citizenship are followed everybody is welcome to participate in the activities and their effects are as wide and far-reaching as possible. The activities should motivate the pupils to strive for self-improvement as well as developing the school and the surrounding community.
The objective of the projects participating in the competition should take into consideration at least one of the themes mentioned below. However, the number of themes is less important than how they are implemented.
