| Description: | • Information of the Bundesausschuss für politische Bildung (conference of out-of-school EDC organisations), dissemination of ideas of the Year and call for action.
• ''EDC Action Days'' (5 – 15 May 2005) in co-operation with the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder and the states' agencies of civic education and further partner institutions. • Installation of the ''NECE – Networking Civic Education in Europe'' database, comprising governmental institutions, NGOs, foundations, universities, networks etc. dealing with EDC. • ''NECE – Follow-up Workshops''. Taking the ''NECE'' conference in September 2004, Santiago de Compostela, as a starting point, a number of workshops in several Euro-pean countries will be organised, dealing trans-nationally with crucial topics of EDC. • International ''NECE'' conference in Berlin (2 – 4 December 2005) in co-operation with the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder (KMK), the DARE network, EAEA, the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Science, and Cultural Affairs and further partners. • ''Parliamentary Evenings'' (''parlamentarische Abende'') on the national and European level, fostering dialogue between decision-makers and EDC actors. • ''Public European Space'': Publication of texts and documents on the BpB's website resembling recent cultural, political and debates on contemporary history in different European states. |
