| Description: | Citizenship2005.ie is providing small grants to 26 organisations and groups to support Citizenship through Education Activities under Ireland's theme of 'Building Learners Capacity for Citizenship through Education: Promoting Participation, Encouraging Voice and Valuing Difference'. The activities comprise of conferences and seminars; resource development in the formal and non-formal education sectors and miscellaneous activities, such as progressing Citizenship Studies at senior cycle in the second level sector; development of a community radio series on voter education and citizenship; establishment of good practice in building a representative adult forum in Community Education.
