| Title: | Monthly alternating topics related to Education for Democratic Citizenship |
| Description: | Information campaigns, activities and events related to monthly topics take place during the Year at different levels. The monthly topics (learning and living democracy, minorities, gender, the political book, commemorating and celebrating, people in movement, peace education, constitution, tolerance and human rights and the European dimension) relate to different aspects of active citizenship and democracy education: Information on the topics is available on the Austrian web site for the Year. Schools, educational institutions, museums, NGO's and local communities are encouraged to organise events, exhibitions and workshops during the whole Year. |
