| Title: | Eighth Meeting of the Working Party on Education Governance |
| Description: | The main objectives of the project are to contribute to the Council of Europe’s 2005 Year of Citizenship through Education as well as to the work programme of the Bologna process in 2005-2007. It aims to strengthen the participation of students, staff and other stakeholders in higher education governance.
In this respect, specific goals are: - to provide background material and room for discussion on the issue of higher education governance, o by conducting a review of available research literature on the matter o by organizing a conference in autumn 2005 - to define possible areas of future work of the Council of Europe in the field of higher education governance and - to develop a concrete input for the Bologna Ministerial Conference to take place in 2007. Another important goal of this project is to contribute to the European Year of Citizenship through Education through its major conference in 2005. |
